I have collected a lot of data on Scorpion elimination using different products and nothing else but Talstar P appears to be effective. I spray every six weeks and they are gone. Excellent product, my family and I feel is now safe. A few years ago I purchased an old home in the hill country of Texas. The place had every creepy crawly critter I had ever seen, and some I hadn't.
I hired a professional exterminator and once every three months he would service my property with excellent results. When I found I could purchase the same products he use for a fraction of the cost of his service I fired him. Once in a while I'll find a bug, but it's dead. It is safe to use around the pets and live stock and I recommend it to all my friends.

Terribly disappointed with this product. From all the raving reviews about how this is the one product that kills most all bugs including springtails, I was confident I had made the right purchase.
Well literally 20 minutes after spraying the exterior of my home with the finished solution, the springtails not only came back, they walked right through the solution! Tons of them all over the house. Expert response: Because Talstar P is a residual product, it may take 30 minutes or more to kill individual insects because of the mode of action. Springtails are an extremely prolific pest that can be quite difficult to treat. To fully eradicate them, you will need to identify and eliminate the moisture source that is causing an ideal situation where they can breed.
Provided good flea control all summer. Has little or no effect on spiders personally, I would not purchase again because of one labelmade in China. I gave 2 stars because I've used Bifenthrin before in other products, like Ortho, with terrific results!
Still tons of lawn critters, spiders, mole crickets, scorpions, fire ants, gnats, mosquitoes. So I sprayed just around our back patio area with "Bayer advanced" and in two hours there was a small army of dead bugs listed above on the patio. Now, like I say I've used Bifenthrin before in lower doses with great results. So is it possible I got a bum batch or something??? I dunno I have used Talstar P for a year with great results. This is a good product and I would definitely recommend it.
Hope this product stays on the market for the do-it-yourself saves money individual. Last year we purchased a home on a 1 acre lot with a very private wooded border. However, the problem we were having with mosquitoes made enjoying our new back yard impossible. I tried the bug control sprays you can buy from the big box hardware stores - with very little results. The customer service was excellent and the results were even better! It's been almost 4 weeks with NO mosquitoes - and we have had some large storms with lots of rain - still going strong!!
I can't say enough of how much I love this product - now I can finally enjoy our yard! All the clover mites and ants are gone just after one treatment. Really happy with the product. Hope that the insects would never come again if I continue performing the maintenance. Wondering if this is US product or China product but it is made in China.
Why is it made in China anyway? Buying to control ants and chinch bugs. Have used it in the past, and nothing else compares to Talstar One 's abilities. I had a major infestation of brown dog ticks in my yard which worked it's way into the house. I had tried many other products with little to no success. With Talstar One I saw major reduction after 24 hours and with a second application a week later my problem is gone.
It is a great product. Within hours of spraying this there wasn't an ant or bug to be found in my yard or porch! It's wonderful to be able to walk on my lawn and not be stepping in ant piles, my dog is not being eaten by fleas either, they've all disappeared too. My garage is free of spiders spining their webs too!
I have done my own pest control for a number of years. I have never in all the years had a product perform as Talstar P has performed. Before I ordered, I read all the reviews which were basically "glowing" in terms of ratings.

I spray around the perimeter of house about times a year and it keeps any and all pests away. I used Diazinon before but those results pale in comparison to Talstar One. Yes No. We live in the high desert of Northern AZ where there are scorpions, millipedes and lots of other nasty insects.
Within a matter of weeks after moving into our new house the scorpions started showing up inside the house. We have several dogs and cats and I was concerned for their safety as well as our own.
A friend recommended a professional pest control company and things improved dramatically after the first treatment. We signed up for regular treatment which was every 3 months. Unfortunately, it was to their schedule which seemed to constantly change and it became extremely inconvenient for us. They would even want to spray while it was raining.
The last time the pest control guy was here my husband asked what they used and the guy was more than willing to tell him that it was Talstar P. We then decided to do our own pest control and not be at the mercy of someone elses schedule. It's very easy, effective and, needless to say, costs a LOT less money - one quart lasted us almost two years and cost about the same as one of the pest control company's visits.
More importantly we spray at the optimum time and under the best weather conditions. Talstar P is an excellent product because it is so persistent and does not break down. Most phosphor based products break down the moment they are expose to sunlight. This one will not. We have an open ditch behind our property that used to be the home to millions of mosquitoes - not anymore.
I spray about ft of the ditch in either direction twice a year, using a total of perhaps 30 oz of Talstar a year, and we have been mosquito free for three years. It seems our entire street lives on an ant hill, because we could not keep those varmints out for long. I read the directions, applied a band around the outside perimeter, windows and doorways of our home and I have not seen one bug, ant, or anything for the past 2 months.
