When you added the starch to the glue the starch hooked the molecules of glue together forming the slime polymer. Glow in the Dark products contain a substance called a phosphor. Phosphors slowly re-emits visible light after being energized. When you charge your slime using a strong lamp or using the ultraviolet light of a black light the phosphors become energized and will radiate after the lights are turned off. Make sure to keep your slime clean and it will last for several weeks. If you want to send kids home with a bit of slime from a camp, party, or classroom project, I would suggest packages of reusable containers from the dollar store or grocery store or even Amazon.

Add remaining cup of corn starch little by little, stirring as you go, until you reach your desired consistency.
If you prefer more of a liquid oobleck, use less cornstarch. If you prefer a thicker, dough-like slime, use more cornstarch. This glow in the dark slime will be similar in consistency to a oobleck, though a bit thicker than traditional recipes. Turn down the lights, pop on a blacklight, and have a glowing good time with your glow in the dark slime!
